CORK Senator Paul Bradford has today urged voters to vote yes to the upcoming referendum on the Lisbon Treaty saying that the outcome of the October vote will determine Ireland’s future in Europe and the future of the Irish economy.
The Fine Gael Senator said that he believes that Ireland and Europe, has changed utterly since it went to the polls in June 2008 and that while the doubts and fears of the Irish people at that time must be recognised, the public must also acknowledge that the passing of the Lisbon Treaty is a vital step on the road to ensuring a strong and peaceful Europe, a Europe that works and creates work.
