FINE Gael Cork South West Deputy and member of the Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications, Noel Harrington, has welcomed the announcement that penalty points in the north and south of Ireland are to be aligned, with road traffic offenders being penalised for their wrong-doings irrespective of which side of the border the crime is committed.

SPEAKING ahead of polling day this Thursday, May 31st, Fine Gael Deputy, Noel Harrington, for Cork South West said that groups from across the business, retail, hospitality and agriculture sectors have all come out to strongly endorse a Yes vote in the Stability Treaty Referendum.
FINE Gael TD for Cork South West, has welcomed the clarification at the EU leaders summit in Brussels that the text of the Stability Treaty will not change. Deputy Noel Harrington added that now it is time to focus on the facts and the contents of the Treaty in the run up to polling day.

Deputy Harrington went on to say that not only will these new places enable jobseekers to retrain and gain the relevant skills needed to get a job, they will also ensure that the right skills are being taught to meet the needs of industry.
