LABOUR TD Ciarán Lynch is urging voters to check the electoral register before it closes for submissions on Monday, May 18 at 5pm.
Deputy Lynch said, “I fully understand this anger and frustration [while out canvassing], but the best way for voters to express this anger is at the ballot box. However, people cannot do this if they are not on the electoral register, so I am urging people this week, to make sure they have secured their right to vote”.
Deputy Lynch added that voters should check with their local franchise office at either City Hall 021 496 6222 or County Hall 021 427 6891 who will be able to advise them.
