Enda Kenny
FINE Gael leader, Enda Kenny TD, will speak in Cork later today on the upcoming Lisbon Treaty and Irish agricultural policy. Following a visit to Douglas Shopping Centre early in the evening, Deputy Kenny will address a public meeting at the Rochestown Park Hotel at 8pm.
The meeting will be chaired by Sean Kelly M.E.P. and other speakers include Michael Creed T.D., and special guest, Matt Dempsey, Editor and Chief Executive of the Irish Farmers Journal. A question and answer session will follow the speeches.
This is the second of four Fine Gael hosted, Lisbon-themed meetings to be held around the country. The meetings provide a forum for discussion on the Lisbon Treaty with specific reference to issues such as Banking, Jobs, the Green Economy and Agriculture.
