Cork families are being forced to drop out of the health insurance market as the Government continues to take decisions that are increasing the cost of private cover, according local Fianna Fáil deputy Billy Kelleher.
“The Government is causing real fear and anxiety among families struggling to keep up their private health insurance. People are really worried about the prospect of further increases, possibly up to 30%, in the cost of their family plan by the end of the year.
